Legacy reinvented. The new Falken U-UHP tyre shares the motorsport DNA of the brand, bringing track performance to the road. We captured it in its natural habitat: the Bilster Berg Racetrack in Germany.

It should look close and fast? Be close and fast.
It’s that simple - or at least in the script and treatment, it seems easy. Filming a TV commercial on a racetrack at actual race speed, however, is a different story - especially while ensuring a safe and controlled environment. Our task was clear: push the limits and get as close to the edge as possible. We chose a lightweight, versatile setup to create rigged shots that scream speed.
Lightweight Setup. Big picture.
We wanted to capture real speed, movement, and dynamics, showcasing the tyre's performance at the edge of grip and the car's suspension in action. Conventional setups often involve shooting at slower speeds and speeding up the footage later in post-production, which can lead to unrealistic results. The displayed speed often fails to match the car and suspension movements.
For this project, we fully utilized the capabilities of modern gimbal cameras to their full potential: lightweight, cinematic quality, and versatile enough to rig onto the hero car, enabling faster speeds than traditional, bulky setups.
We rigged a fully stabilized, remote-controllable Ronin 4D 8K cinema camera to the hero car, allowing our stunt drivers to push the limits - fast, really fast.
